Billing
Plans and Subscriptions
This page describes only the Razorpay-based recurring billing flow used for Keeping subscriptions.
1. Razorpay Subscription Model
Keeping uses Razorpay Subscriptions for recurring billing. In Razorpay's subscription model, a plan defines the billing amount, billing interval, and recurring schedule, and a subscription links a customer to that plan.
This means the commercial billing setup for a customer is structured around a Razorpay plan and a corresponding Razorpay subscription record created for that customer.
2. Initial Authorisation and Recurring Charges
The customer may need to complete an initial authorisation or authentication step for the selected supported payment method. After the mandate is in place, recurring charges may be collected automatically according to the subscription schedule, subject to Razorpay rules, issuer approval, payment-method support, and applicable regulation.
Razorpay manages the recurring billing flow, invoice creation, and payment collection within its subscription infrastructure.
3. Subscription Value Changes
If a client's subscription value changes because of platform consumption, revised scope, or a commercial change, Keeping may move the customer to revised billing terms through Razorpay. Depending on what Razorpay supports for that active subscription and payment method, this may be handled by updating the live subscription or by issuing a revised subscription setup linked to updated plan terms.
Where Razorpay, the bank, the payment method, or applicable rules require a fresh mandate or re-authorisation, recurring billing can continue only after that updated authorisation is completed again.
4. Razorpay Payment Trust Note
Payments powered by Razorpay.
Payment processing remains subject to Razorpay's own platform terms, payment rails, issuer-side approvals, and regulatory requirements.
